The Game Prep process used takes about a week and consists of nearly 30 individual steps. The same process that LBC Football uses when prepping game balls for some of the top NCAA college and high school programs, is the same used on these brand-new Wilson footballs. With proper care, these footballs should last quite a long term and continue to soften and further darken over time.
A Tacky Bar and Brush will ship with every football purchased on this listing. The half-sized Tacky bar will last quite a long time and should be re-applied on the leather panels after every few usages. Tacky-Bars not only keep the grip optimal, but they also continuously condition the leather panels when applied. One question we get quite often..."What can I do to maintain my game prepped football?" ...and we always advise that having a tacky bar and brush is an absolute must in order to keep your grip optimal and the leather panels protected long term.
