I usually don't seek too many footballs with autographs, nothing against them but I tend to prefer non-autographed footballs. However, when I was offered the opportunity to pick up a Paul Tagliabue autographed ball - it was a tough pass! Many who collect NFL game balls are familiar with this signature as it was included on every NFL game ball from 1989 - 2006. Paul T. was credited with the expansion of the league with Charlotte and Jacksonville being added in 1995, NFL in Europe and multiple team movements to other cities. He served as Commissioner of the NFL until 2006, before handing over the reins to Roger Goodell. Paul Tagliabue was elected to the Hall of Fame Centennial Class of 2021.
