Navy Midshipmen Subsurface Limited Edition Team Issue Football.
There were only 250 of these made, each individually tagged. However, this specific edition is a "Proof" and was likely only one of a handful that were produced during the design phase of this unique football.
The small hole area to the right of the clear circular area is meant for a camera phone to shine it's flashlight into, which illuminates the area inside the ball (in the clear plastic circle area), showing the image of a submarine. It's a really unique design, which also includes translucent tacky lacing.
Overall, the bladder holds air just fine and the panels were just recently brushed and conditioned by LBC, making it ready for any display or office. There are some minimal cosmetic scuffs as a result of storage over the last 1-2yrs but otherwise the ball is still in great condition.
